  • Sacraments for Adults

Are you an adult and you:

    1) wish to know more about the Catholic faith? and/or

    2) are considering to become a Catholic?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the Catholic Church’s way of initiating new members into the Church.

It is a process that provides those who attend an encounter with the teachings of Jesus and an opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of Catholic Church beliefs and practices.

The RCIA program in the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish involves regular meetings that are tailored for those who:

    1) have no faith background and wish to become fully Initiated in the Catholic Church through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist (Holy Communion), or

    2) have an understanding of Christianity and have already been baptised in the Catholic Church or another recognised Christian tradition, but wish to complete their initiation into the Catholic church through the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist (Holy Communion), or

    3) have an interest in gaining a deeper understanding of the Catholic tradition.

Enrolments for 2024 are now OPEN. The program is conducted by the Preca Community and will commence on 19th April 2024. To enrol for 2024 or for further enquiries, please email: altonameadows@preca.org.au
